Terms and Conditions

 

Registration and participation conditions

  • Registrations are only accepted in writing (with registration form by post or fax, e-mail or Internet). By registering, you accept our general terms and conditions.
  • Registrations will be considered according to the date of receipt.
  • If the applicant does not receive written confirmation within 3 weeks, he/she is requested to check with the efz secretariat whether the registration has been accepted.
  • If the course is already full when we receive your registration, we will put you on the waiting list.
  • Once you have been entered on the list of participants, a contract is concluded, i.e. your registration is binding and you are obliged to pay the course fees.
  • Please provide a copy of the confirmation of participation when registering.

 

Payment

  • Direct debit authorizations will be redeemed approx. 4 weeks before the start of the course.
  • Please also make bank transfers no later than 4 weeks before the start of the course. Please state the name of the participant, course title and course date. (For international transfers, please also transfer the international fees).
  • Non-participation without prior written notice of withdrawal does not constitute a cancellation within the meaning of our General Terms and Conditions.
  • Receipt of the course fee is acknowledged on the confirmation of participation
  • The courses are tax-free according to §4No.21a letter bb) UStG.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made in writing and are free of charge up to 4 weeks before the start of the course.
  • Cancellations 4 weeks or more before the start of the course are subject to the following cancellation fees:
  • 4 - 2 weeks before the start of the course 50% of the course fees
  • from 2 weeks before the start of the course or during the course 100% of the course fees
  • We recommend that you take out seminar insurance.
  • This regulation also applies in the event of illness.
  • In the event of cancellation at short notice, a refund of the course fee paid is only possible if a suitable replacement participant is provided and his/her payment has been made.

Cancellation or modification of courses

  • Should we have to cancel a course at short notice, in particular due to the absence of the instructor, an insufficient number of participants or other unforeseeable reasons, we will endeavor to inform all participants in good time.
  • In this case, the course fee will of course be refunded in full if the participant does not wish to make use of the offer of another course.
  • Claims for damages are excluded.
  • The Occupational Therapy Training Center reserves the right to make changes to the planned timetable or schedule if necessary. In particular, this may include changes to speakers or rooms. However, we will endeavor to announce such changes as early as possible.
  • In the interest of our course participants, we will always try to find a replacement of equal value in every way.

Liability

  • Liability for all liability claims arising from the contractual relationship and other legal relationships (personal injury and damage to property incurred by a participant before, during and after the event) is limited to gross negligence and intent insofar as it concerns the liability of the efz.

 

Obligations of the participant

  • Participants are required, in their own interest, to attend the booked events regularly, punctually and with concentration and to cooperate on their own responsibility in a manner that can generally be assumed in adult education. In particular, disruptions to the lessons of any kind are to be avoided.
  • The rooms, equipment and materials provided must be treated with care.
  • Smoking, eating and drinking in the course rooms are generally not permitted.
  • The efz reserves the right to exclude participants who deliberately or through gross negligence persistently violate these conditions from further participation in the relevant event in whole or in part. The participant shall be liable for any damages incurred.Subsidiary agreements Collateral agreements must always be made in writing to be valid.
